Very important game on sunday!!

Sunday the 26th June we have a must win game against the national champions Bristol Aztecs. Bristol defeated us 31-14 in our previous game but I believe we weren't mentally prepared for the game and now that we must win by at least 16 points i believe our players will turn up ready and pumped up. For us to win this game we must "leave it all on the field", which means that we should play our hearts out and have no regrets after the game if we win or lose. It is also our last game at the "snakepit" (Boston manor) which has been our home ground for the past 5 years so it will be good ending it off with a win.
Currently I am still playing as an offensive lineman and i have been training hard on and off the field to move positions to a defensive lineman. My defensive coach said he will give me a  few reps on defense since i have been working hard and turning up to all of our training sessions. Hopefully I will get to show him that i can be our best defensive lineman.

All units completed

I have finally handed in and completed all the feedback for all my units. I have attempted the distinction criteria for all my so i should hopefully get a distinction this year. I am confident that I have achieved a distinction for most of my units and at least a merit at the minimum. iI have enjoyed Unit 18 (programming), Unit 6(spreadsheet) and Unit 5(database). Unit 18 was probably the most challenge unit because I had no experince in programming and understanding different programming languages and data types examples are prodcedural languages and scripting. I had to mostly do a lot of reasrch and reading my visual basic book where it had example and tasks that helped me complete Unit 18.
Unit 6 (Spreadsheet) was one of the easiest units to copmplete mainly because i have had a lot of experince in using it from my previous assignments in secondary school and when I was working for my Uncle business. Unit 5(Database) was also very easy to complete because i have had previous experince using it in my secondary school assignments and at work. At work i had to use a lot of mail merging to merge the names and addresses of clients and print it using a databse.

Unit 35 - Unit 1 - week 1+2

Unit 35 assignment 2
I have just handed in unit 35 assignment 2 to Anna. The assignment is about the impact of use on IT on business systems. The unit also covers how IT can have a positive or negative impact on employees and employers. Also how a business can take advtange of IT development. I am aming to get a distinction in this assignment and whole unit.

Unit 1
I have finished writing an essay about a specialist IT communication channel, how effective it is and i alos have to use it. I wrote about blogging what it offers for the user.

Week 1+2
It was my first game of this season and we played against farnham knights away. coming into the game i was confident that we could pull off a win because my team has good talent but i was nervous that some rookies could make mistakes. half time we were losing 22-0 so it was quite dissapointing because the refs made alot of bad calls that should of gone our way. just before the 2nd half our coach gave a oreo talk to try and get use hyped up for the half. At the end we ended up losing 22-14 but they didnt score on us the whole 2nd half so it showed we can be a good team as long as we dont make mistakes.

It was the 2nd game of the season and we were playing the current national champions bristol aztecs. it was a very long coach journey to bristol as it took 3 hours to get there.we came into the game very prepared with new trick plays that we wouldnt to use against them. also last season we beat them so we were confident. Just before the game startd we found out that the rival tam london blitz were recording the game so we couldnt risk them seeing our new plays so we had to puse our old plays.At the end we ended up losing again 30-14 but I honestly believe they played better but we have a better team.

I have recently received new assignment set by Anna which is unit 35 ,business management. Anna gave us  the whole assignment so that we can complete it in our own time before the deadline. I have also received a new assignment from Louie which is unit 3, information systems. I will  try and complete the assignment this weekend which will be down on power point presentation.

Today in Judy's lesson she gave us a mind style estimator test to see what type of mind style we are. The test results show my mind style is cconcrete random and concrete sequential. Concrete sequential learns derive information through direct hands on while concrete random learners have experimental attitudes.I agree with this test because i am a risk taker,competitive but i also like order and logical sequence.

I am updating my CV today which is also part of unit 1

Feedback

I have given in most of my feedback in today. I have completed :

I have gone for a distinction for all of these units and i have already achieved a distinction grade for my unit 34 assignment 1 so i will have to keep it up to be successful at t he end of this year

Unit 18 assigment 2

I have just submitted unit 18 assignment 2 (programming). I aim to get a distinction for this unit, and I believe I ave put the effort and correct time management into this unit. I had some problems with completing the work especially the distinction criteria but eventually I solved the problem because of extra research and help from my lecturer.

American football

My target is to change position from offensive lineman to middle linebacker for the new season. I have been training hard this offseason and now training has started so i will need to prove myself to my coaches.
I can do this by turning up to all training sessions, working hard to improve my ability ,strength , speed and by also listening to my coaches.

Recently my college has set up an american football team so i have extra training and playing time which will benifit me in the long run. I will also me trying out for middle linebacker so hopefully if I get this position it will help me improve my skills so i can play better for my team outside of college.

Unit 1

I have just given in my unit 1 (P2 and M2) and i have just received my P1 and P6 from unit 1. So I will work on it and improve from the feedback. I am confident that I will meet the criteria for unit 1 (P2 and M2) because of have put a lot of effort into it and i have managed my time correctly.

For unit 1 P1 and P6 i need to make a few adjustments to them, to meet the criteria.
